Description: This Section 8 Housing Program is the major effort in assisting lower-income families to live in decent, safe, and sanitary housing. This program provides assistance for low-income families in the private rental market through the HUD Housing Choice Voucher Program.

Description: The purpose of the Upper Explorerland Regional Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) is to provide financing to new and expanding small businesses for which credit is not otherwise available on terms and conditions, which permit completion and/or the successful operation of proposed business activities. Any project, which will create permanent employment, diversification of the local economy, or increase to the local tax base in Allamakee, Clayton, Fayette, Howard, and Winneshiek Counties, is an eligible project.

Description: The intent of the fund is to be responsive to nonprofits serving Fayette County that are providing basic needs services and organizations working with individuals and families who have been disproportionately impacted by the public health and economic consequences of the coronavirus pandemic. This fund provides an opportunity for the public to give with the reassurance their donations will be used to quickly move resources to where they are most needed and to adapt to evolving needs.

Description: The Howard County COVID-19 Disaster Response Fund provides support to organizations assisting in the response and recovery efforts of the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic. Description: Each year the ACCF accepts applications for grants for community development, community promotions, community education and similar matters. The grant shall be for the benefit of persons residing in Allamakee County, Iowa. Entities that have a 501(c)3 designation by the Internal Revenue Service or schools or municipalities are eligible to apply for these funds. Nonprofit groups may apply for up to $20,000 for their projects.

The grant shall be for the benefit of persons residing in Clayton County, Iowa. Eligible applicants must be 501(c)(3) nonprofit agencies or affiliated with a public agency/unit of government (county, city, school) operating and providing services within Clayton County. Organizations who do not have 501(c)(3) status are encouraged to find a qualifying agency to serve as a fiscal sponsor. A 25% cash match is required.

Description: The Disaster Recovery Fund will provide grants to community-based organizations/service providers reducing economic, educational and health impacts on vulnerable populations during and following the pandemic as well as long-term needs that may emerge. Grants will be provided to community-based organizations/service providers active in current response and/or preparation in the areas of economic, education, and health impacts for vulnerable populations. Grants will support unmet human needs resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic, including coordination of assistance to individuals and families and programs and services related to recovery. Examples could include: Basic needs, such as food, shelter, medical, other supplies, etc.; Mental health services; Access to education; Legal services
